1. Law and Order
1.1. Romans laws where very strict but there where lots of crimes
1.2. How they ruled was what ever pleases the empire was they way they ran Romany
1.3. The ways they prevented crime was they wore old clothes even if they where wealthy and they did not go outside alone
1.4. The Romans all believed that one law applied to all citizens and not just individuals
2. Food and Drink
2.1. There main foods for Roman was Rice, bread, beans, a few choices of vegetables, cheeses or meats
2.2. Your diet depended on if you where rich or poor.
2.3. They had a market that had many different selections but it depend on what type of food you could afford and the most elaborate meals
2.4. Most rich people would have there slaves go and get there food for there big dinner partys
3. Recreation
3.1. The rich and poor could enjoy something called the bath which had pools baths and manyother activities
3.2. The rich would enjoy theater productions and musical performances
3.3. The rich and the poor would go and watch chariot races
4. Country Life
4.1. 90 percent of Rome lived in the country
4.2. The rich would own there own land
4.3. They would grow crops to provide for them and the city
5. Religon
5.1. They believed that gods controlled there daily life
5.2. They left food and presents for the gods at the temple
5.3. They had many holidays though out the year to celebrate the gods
5.4. In time Rome worshiped there emperors as gods
6. Family Life
6.1. Roman men where expected to provide for the family
6.2. A lot of of the wealthy families had bussiness
6.3. The women took care of the household
7. Housing
7.1. Housing was very different for the rich
7.2. They had many rooms for guests and visitors
7.3. The poor would live in VERY small apartments that where very cramped
8. Education
8.1. The poor would be sent to school but the rich would home school their kids until the age of six
8.2. There school would start very early and go till about 2:00
8.3. Both girls and boys learned
