2.3. Mummification came about in 3100 BC, as a solution to their decaying problem. Mummification was perfect because it preserved the body so that the dead people could move on to the afterlife, with their body in reasonably good condition.

3.1. Ancient Egyptian religion was a system of polytheistic beliefs and rituals
3.2. The entire life of Ancient Egypt was based on religion, and their beliefs were important to them

6. Life Styles
6.1. food
6.1.1. The important people ate normal fruit and vegetables as well and expencive bread and wine
6.1.2. There was also very different diets between the rich and poor
6.1.3. The mogoraty of people in Ancient Egypt ate with there fingers
6.2. farming
6.2.1. Egyptians grew crops such as wheat, barley, vegetables, figs, melons, pomegranates and vines
6.2.2. They used tools such as: Flint knifes arrow heads and flint axe heads
6.2.3. Farmers lived in towns too, along with craftworkers, traders and other workers and their families.
6.3. clothing
6.3.1. Egypt has hot and dry weather because so much of it is a desert. The ancient Egyptians had to have clothing that was not too hot and allowed free flowing air to cool their bodies. Most of the clothes they wore were made of linen that was made from the flax plant. The type and quality of linen depended upon how rich the person was.
6.4. homes
6.4.1. There weren’t that many trees for building houses. The Egyptians had to use whatever they had around and that included mud and reeds. Since the Nile River floods lasted three months out of the year, their housing construction often suffered.
