1.1. In the online classroom settings goals would be getting assignments done early, and achieving the highest possible grade. In everday life the same stratgey can be applied to work or success in your future

1.3. Creating stepping stones can keep a person motivated to keep moving foward

2. Time Management

2.1. Being able to lay out and prioritize your time can not only help productivity in the online classroom but also keep important things from slipping through. (Papers, assignments, bills, work meetings)

2.2. Tools such as online calendars(google calendar), desktop sticky notes, and ongoing notifications can prioritize your time

2.3. Managing your time will create less stress , being able to work more effectively , and being able to achieve golals which ties into next straegy

3. Organization

3.1. A digital tool that can be used is a digital organizer. There are apps for phones as well as windows will help with staying organized(ResuceTime App)

3.2. Having things in order and knowing exactly translates from classroom to life. Setting up where to save homework vs assignments or saving e-mails from work/school with labels so you can always find critical information.

3.3. Research shows that organized people are less tardy, work more efficiently, and are less stressed. Leads to assignments and work getting done on time. Ties into time mangement

4.1.1. Another APUS resource. This one has many subjects pertaining to everything im talking about and then some. It also mentions every single topic while also giving breathing room for additional information if i wanted to change

4.2. Duke, D. L. (1990). Setting goals for professional development. Educational Leadership, 47(8), 71-75.

4.2.1. This resource was found through google scholar. It fits perfectly with my goal setting topic and applying it in multiple areas.

4.3. Grant, J. (2013). Being Organized is not Easy. Administrative Assistant's Update.

4.3.1. Another resource pulled from APUS library. After a quick read of the article I liked how it has aspects leading towards my "everyday life" view of organization. However, it is a small article so I'm not sure how much i can learn from it.

4.4. Varga, A. (2011). Time management. New York: Nova Science.

4.4.1. Excellent resource from the APUS library which gives it the accreditation needed. Mentions my topics right in the preface. Also chapter 6 mentions balance which can tie into all of my topics.

5. Draft Intro

5.1. School is not the easiest thing out there and doing it online does not necessarily make it any easier. It takes plenty of discipline to stay on top in a online environment. However, strategies such as time management, organization and setting goals are essential to online engagement and may applied to everyday life as well.

6. Draft conclusion

6.1. The online environment may be more demanding than the classroom but there are tools and strategies than can be used to help the situation. These tools translate beyond online learning. If a person can perfect in an online environment with these tools, why can't they help you perfect how you live?
