4. Tip #4: Do not plan to get souvenirs during the middle of the day. It is often very busy and just consumes too much of your time that you can be using for other things such as exploring the park or riding the attractions. Either get your souvenirs such as the infamous Mouse Ears right as you get in the park, or at the end of the day. Here's another secret: The souvenir shops stays open for about another hour AFTER the park closes. Although this time is also the busiest, you don't have to worry about wasting your time during the day. Also, don't worry about stuff being sold out, Disney NEVER runs out of souvenirs, I promise. They have several stores across the park so any item that you are searching for WILL be there somewhere.

5. Tip #5: If you can, get park-hopper tickets. It is definitely more expensive than the regular Disneyland ticket, but it allows you to visit the California Adventure park as well as the Disneyland park. With this ticket, you can visit either park as much as you want throughout your trip which means you can visit more characters and ride more attractions! It is definitely worth it as you can also see the World of Color, which is a beautiful water show that happens at night, and allows you to explore other areas of the park that you couldn't do with just a regular ticket.

6. Tip #6: Although taking pictures and uploading them are great for capturing and sharing your Disney moments, be sure to stop looking at your phone from time-to-time and to really look and absorb the beauty of the surroundings. This way, you can spend much more quality time with your family, friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, and/or the rest of your loved ones. Even if your trip doesn't go exactly the way you planned, it will definitely be a blast and one of the best times of your life; although these are just a few tips out of many more out there, they truly do make such a difference and can guarantee that you will have a great and unforgettable time!

7. Intro: Whenever you go to Disneyland, you might feel as if you're spending WAY too much money and not making the most out of it. Don't worry, this is completely normal as a lot of people don't really know or think about how they can make the most out of their experience. This is where I come in to help. As an avid Disney lover myself, I always go to Disneyland whenever I get a chance to go to California, which is at least two to three times a year. I've had my fair share of bad experiences at Disneyland in which I just felt that I've wasted a lot of my money that I've worked so hard for. So, in order to prevent that from happening to you, I am here to help you by sharing my top 6 tips on how to make the most out of your trip! Why "6" you may ask? Because there are 6 letters in "Disney." :)

8. Tip #1: Fastpasses are your best friend. Fastpasses let you skip the long lines and they are free, but limited, and can be found outside of each major ride (Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, etc. There will be a sign or a cast member there if you're unsure!) They are distributed right next to the lines of the ride and all you need is your actual disney park ticket that you received at the entrance gate. You insert it into the machine, and then your fastpass comes out! On the fastpasses, it will have a time frame that tells you when you can use it, but to warn you, you can only have about two (for separate rides) at a time. When you first get into the park, I recommend getting the two fastpasses right away to the extremely popular rides such as Splash and Space Mountain, and then go ahead and ride the other rides that do not have the fastpasses first like Peter Pan's Flight. Here's a secret: People usually try to go wait in line for big rides like Space Mountain first before exploring other rides, so rides that don't have fastpasses like "Peter Pan's Flight" usually don't have lines until another hour or two later (which will be VERY long). Be sure to take advantage of this!

9. Tip #2: Get the Disney Park app! It's just named "Disneyland". It has the list of all of the rides at Disneyland, including their wait times! It tells you approximately how long the lines are at each ride, so you can plan out what rides you would want to go on first! The app stays updated throughout your time at the park so you don't have to worry about the wait times being frozen from time-to-time! It also has information on where and what time certain characters are going to be. It has updates on characters such as the Disney Princesses, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and many more!

10. Tip #3: You CAN bring food and drinks into the park as long as it is not alcoholic or harmful in any way. A lot of people don't know this as they automatically assume you can't bring much into the park due to safety policies. The cost of having meals at Disneyland is VERY expensive, no doubt. However, by bringing your own snacks and plenty of water, you can save a lot of money! It can be a pain to carry sometimes, but it allows you to have some extra cash if you decide to buy a souvenir on your way out of the park at the end of the day! If you do decide to buy food at Disney (although expensive, it is quite delicious), be sure to plan your meals during the parades! Instead of eating in the restaurants, you can get a good spot to see the parades and eat at the same time!
