1.1.1.2.1. If you desire to not stay in Latitude 13 for the seven days you will be spending in Lilongwe you can also stay at the Kuti Wildlife Reserve where you can do many things like the following.

1.1.1.2.2. There is a wide selection of big mammal species including giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, warthogs, civets, genets and primates. And other species including kudu, waterbuck, reedbuck, nyala, bushbuck, impala, oribi, duiker and grysbok. This sable reaches over 100 animals and is the joy of this environment.

1.1.1.2.3. The ride from Latitude 13 to Kuti Wildlife reserve is 1 hour and 20 minutes.

1.2. FOOD

1.2.1. During your trip you could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at Latitude 13. However if you would like to try other types of food during your seven days of stay you could go to:

1.3. ATTRACTIONS

1.3.1. If you think these trip are not going to be necessary because of the duration of the car rides you can skip them. But here they are.

1.3.1.1. Dedza Pottery

1.3.1.1.1. Here locals produce a wide range of high standard handcrafted pottery products which you can buy. You can also customize you own by changing the size or colours etc. However you are not permitted to make it yourself.

1.3.1.2.1. Here you will be able to observe 127 sites that feature some of the richest concentration of rock art in Central Africa.

1.3.2. Liwonde National Park

1.3.2.1. The atmosphere of the Liwonde National Park is unique, and gives a taste of the Africa that people dream about; with a sluggish river running through the middle in which hippos snort and frogs sing. It runs alongside the Shire River and part of Lake Malombe. Rough tracks and footpaths offer views of wildlife such as elephants, hippos and endangered black rhinos. River, grassland and woodland habitats are home to crocodiles, leopards and antelopes. Rich birdlife includes rare species like Pel’s fishing owls and Lilian’s lovebirds.

1.3.4.1. Lilongwe Wildlife Trust was established in 2008 – opened as a wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and education facility supporting the Government’s work fighting wildlife crimes. Here you will be able to visit some animals and sometimes touch or feed them.

3.1. The car ride from Lilongwe to Mangochi is 3 hours by car.

3.1.1. HOTEL

3.1.1.1. For your stay in Mangochi you will have two choices.

3.1.2. FOOD

3.1.2.1. Unfortunately breakfast, lunch and dinner are not included in your hotel and unfortunately there are not many restaurants around. In fact there is only one that is rated to be very good although the variety is quite limited. Most people tend to enjoy the sandwiches and salads. "Lovely setting", "Delicious food" as said by some of their customers. This restaurant is right next to the beach. Overall it is rated to be average.

3.1.2.1.1. La Mirage Restaurant

3.1.3. ATTRACTIONS

3.1.3.1. Lake Malawi National Park

3.1.3.1.1. Lake Malawi islocated at the southern end of the great expanse of Lake Malawi, with its deep, clear waters and mountain backdrop, the national park is home to many hundreds of fish species.

3.1.3.1.2. You are able to rent kayaks but the price depends on the season

3.1.3.1.3. The drive is around 25 minutes.

3.1.4. TRANSPORTATION

3.1.4.1. During this trip you will need to rent a car to go anywhere unless that place is 5 minutes away. Here is where you can rent a car. Most roads in Malawi are paved but there are the occasional offload Adventure's. At this car rental they rent only afford vehicles so any road in Malawi shall not be a problem.

4. July 22nd - July 23rd - Malawi, Lilongwe

4.1. You will be going back to Lilongwe just for the night because the car ride from Mangochi until Lilongwe is really long specifically 5 hours. And going on a 5 hour ride then directly going on the palne wouldn't be very comfortable. You can leave Mangochi anytime you would like. We recommend you leave around 1 or 2 p.m. after eating lunch at your hotel, so you could arrive to your destination around 7 p.m.. Unfortunately you will not have time to do any activities and we suggest you din and rest for the rest of the evening
