Teaser Trailer Conventions
by Sasha Blore
1. Makes the audience aware that there is a new film coming out soon.
2. Doesn't give away much, barely anything.
3. Shows perhaps not what the final trailer will look like but the initial ideas for the film.
4. Shorter than normal trailers- Usually 30-60 seconds long.
5. Tends to give a very breif outline with best bits.
6. Will I make my trailer a teaser or full-length?
6.1. I'll make it full length as I can fit much more into a normal trailer and show what I want to in order to tell part of the plot and thus make people want to see the film.
