1. Score Rules

1.1. Each game is played to 21 points . A match is the best of three games

1.2. At the start of the rally, the server and receiver stand in diagonally opposite service courts.

1.3. When the serving side loses a rally, the serve immediately passes to their opponent .

2. General faults

2.1. The bird falls outside the court (if it falls on a boundary line it is good).

2.2. A player is struck by the bird.

2.3. A player hits the bird twice in succession or a player and partner hit the bird on successive shots.

2.4. The bird is struck before it crosses the net

2.5. A player touches the net while the bird is in play.

2.6. A player catches the bird instead of letting it drop.

2.7. The bird is carried on the racket.

2.8. A player obstructs an opponent.

3.1. Old badminton game is named as battledore using a bat or paddle.

3.2. Badminton arrived in America and has been popular since 1929.

3.3. Since 1992, badminton started as an Olympic sport in Barcelona.
