COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES

1. We always write "than" after the adjective when this is not written at the end of the sentence. E.g: "She is bigger than me" "That car is more expensive than this one".

2. REGULAR ADJECTIVES

2.1. RULES:

2.2. When a verb ends in "e" we just add "-r". E.g: "nice- nicer".

2.3. When the comparative adjective is written at the end of a sentence we don´t write neither "more" nor "than". E.g: "She is happy, but he is happier" "I´m tall, but she is taller".

2.4. When a verb ends with a structure "Consonant+vowel+consonant" we double the last consonant and add "-er". E.g: "fat-fatter".

2.5. When a verb is too long (two syllables or more) we write "more" before the infinitive form of the verb. E.g: "expensive-more expensive".

2.6. When an adjective has two syllables and it ends in "y" we can use both: "more...than" or "-ier". E.g: "The boy is more crazy than me" or "The boy is crazier than me".

3. When a verb ends in "y" we just change it by "i" and add "-er". E.g: "pretty-prettier".

4. IREGULAR ADJECTIVES

4.3. Good- "better than"

4.4. Bad- "worse than"
