3. How can you search the internet?
3.1. All you need to do is type in your topic in the search engine to find related web pages
3.2. There are special websites on the internet called search engines to help you find the information you need!
3.3. Sometimes you wont find the information you need straight away, so you might need to be more specific when using your search engine

5.1. 1. Clarify what information you are looking for
5.2. 2. Search - type in simple search terms
5.3. 3. Delve - look beyond the first few results - just because they aren't up the top it doesn't mean they aren't as important!
5.4. 4. evaluate how useful the website is. using the "control" button on your laptop with "F" can help you to search important terms you are looking for on the page.
5.5. 5. Cite - Make sure you don't copy and paste information - write it in your own words!:)

6.1. Net 1. Start narrow
6.2. Net 2. Find exact phrases
6.2.1. By doing this, you will be able to locate pages with that exact wording
6.3. Net 3. Trim back the URL
6.3.1. often pages can be nestled deep in pages with pages with other pages! Trimming the URL can help you find these pages
