1. How exactly were they affected?
1.1. - The people of Leyte Island had to move outside their homes because they lost everything due to Typhoon Haiyan 😢
1.2. More that anything disasters else it has been affected by floods
1.3. They Lost their homes, and everything that was in their home, also they got injured
2. What could have been done to lessen the impact of climate change on the people’s lives?
2.1. We must change the way of emitting Co2 to the atmosphere
2.2. We have to change the way we consume, and how we do the things
2.3. We can change our lifestyle to avoid another thing like this

3.1. The Philippines , officially the Republic of the Philippines is an archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. Situated in the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of about 7,641 islands that are broadly categorized under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City, both within the single urban area of Metro Manila. Bounded by the South China Sea on the west, the Philippine Sea on the east and the Celebes Sea on the southwest, the Philippines shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Japan to the northeast, Palau to the east, Indonesia to the south, Malaysia and Brunei to the southwest, Vietnam to the west, and China to the northwest.
3.1.1. Typhoon Haiyan, known in the Philippines as Super Typhoon Yolanda, was one of the most powerful tropical cyclones ever recorded. On making landfall, Haiyan devastated portions of Southeast Asia, particularly the Philippines. It is one of the deadliest Philippine typhoons on record, killing at least 6,300 people in that country alone. In terms of JTWC-estimated 1-minute sustained winds, Haiyan is tied with Meranti for being the strongest landfalling tropical cyclone on record. In January 2014, bodies were still being found.
