THE HUMAN GENOME von Mind Map: THE HUMAN GENOME

1. THE GENES AND THE PERSON

1.1. Human beings are not gene machines since the expression of genes in mammals depends on interactions with each other and with the environment according to complex patterns, difficult to predict in their details and it is these details that define the human being.

1.1.1. A fundamental characteristic of the human being is CULTURE, culture is the set of activities and creations of our species that are not strictly biological. Cultural evolution occurs through time through human or cultural HERITAGE.

1.1.1.1. There are 2 types of HUMAN HERITAGE: 1- Biological / organic: it is the same as the reproduction of the other species. 2- Cultural / Super organic: this is transmitted by instruction and learning, by imitation and for example, and is acquired from parents, relatives, neighbors and the entire social environment.

2. POWER AND LIMITS

2.1. One of the limits of science, or why it does not advance, is because the inductive method has been implemented. On the contrary, what science is allowed to advance is the statement of HYPOTHESIS since they guide us towards observation and experimentation.

2.1.1. POWER: Hypothesis

2.2. LIMIT: Inductive Method

3. This project started in the United States in 1989, is a great achievement for science, and therefore for humanity, this is a very complex process to carry out, yet it was achieved. To write the sequence of the human genome it would take a thousand volumes the size of Don Quixote, for each set of 23 crosomes twice as much to write the complete human genome.

4. TWO FRONTIERS OF HUMAN BIOLOGY

4.1. biology faces two frontiers

4.1.1. Ontogenetic decoding

4.1.1.1. It refers to its epiphenomena, due to the linearly organized dimension of DNA and that it transforms the human being and that can also be known as the transformation of the embryo into an adult.

4.2. Brain / mind riddle

4.2.1. It can also be called as physical / mental transformation, which refers to perceptions, feelings, ideas, critical arguments, aesthetic emotions, and ethical values.

4.2.1.1. and this in turn originates

4.2.1.1.1. Unitary reality, mind or self-consciousness.
