1. Read.
2. Play mind games. Spend time playing chess, crossword puzzles and sudoku with a friend or a family member.
3. Practice writing news articles, factual information, or documentaries to sharpen your vocabulary and writing skills.
4. Study a new language and master it.
5. Exercise at least 20 minutes every day. Aerobic exercise enhances a person's memory.
6. Create a sample draft for an academic book.
7. Solve math and science problems.
8. Go to a lecture class or try to acquire new skills.
9. Read about and listen to the creative ideas of others.
10. Try something new. Either master a new music instrument or try storytelling and acting.
11. Paint or draw based on your feelings, thoughts and imaginations.
12. Listen to peaceful songs when doing household chores so that your mind can explore or wander new ideas.
13. Relax and have fun. Let your imaginative mind flow.
14. Watch and read fiction movies and novels.
15. Write songs about you feelings, thoughts or imaginations and sing it out loud.
16. Travel or take a walk around your neighborhood to trigger your creativity.
