3.2. The epic of marduk is based around the idea of myths and mythology. With the epicenter being about forgotten myths, I aim to tell a story that unravels itself as the viewers and the main character learn more about the world as the story develops. The story follows the primeval duo of Baphomet and Marduk, gods who are father and daughter and their conflict that spans creation.
3.3. UNIVERSE CREATION MYTH
3.3.1. In almost every culture there is a myth about the creation of the universe. Humans quantify ideas and concepts they don't understand into ideas and concepts that fit the ideas for the day. Being a story driven by myth, I see it fit to have a story about how the world was created
3.3.1.1. At the start there was darkness, a story untold, a world unformed, and concepts undiscovered. The primordial void engendered the first, Baphomet. He was sovereign over the void, and as such he split himself in two. Ouroboros was created and dichotomy along with her, they then laid with each other and gave birth to numerous children: Aegis(knowledge), Stooth(spirit), Marduk(Willpower), Amputechture(Body),Tetragramation(Mind) and Caval(Mana). Baphomet spurned his children, for together they threatened his sovereign reign. Marduk, the oldest daughter of Baphomet, was told by her mother that Baphoment seeks a power to lay waste to them. Marduk, unfearing of death, devised a plan to deceive their paranoid father by draining him of his blood and putting him into a deep sleep. Marduk challenged Baphomet in a test of strength for the sovereign of the unshaped void, Baphoment laughed and gleefully accepted. The two agreed to a race, the first to reach the end of creation and back would be crowned sovereign of the void; however, Baphoment was arrogant and foolish, and gave his daughter a head start. Marduk took off from the starting line and the race began. Marduk speeds twisted and tore the unshaped void, creating stars and moons with each step. Marduk's unfathomable speeds led her to reach the end of creation as her father left the finish line. Baphomet hearing news of this used all of his power to try and out speed his daughter, his footsteps so loud and powerful that they shaped reality itself and created suns while his sweat beads created planets. Faster than her daughter, Baphoment quickly caught up and outsped her, crossing the starting line and winning. Exhausted, Baphomet declared himself the winner and demanded Marduk executed for her failure to surpass her father. Ouroboros told Baphomet that he was being too harsh on their daughter. Just then Aegis, Stoot, Amputechture,Tetragramation and Caval cast a deep sleep spell on their exhausted father, lulling him into a deep slumber; However, the spell was rushed and incomplete and the siblings knew that in order to truly defeat their father they would have to kill him. But the siblings were exhausted, drained from their spell so.. the siblings separated Baphomet appendages and used them to create our world, a paradise in which the gods would watch over us in and return we worship them with Baphomet's blood to return their strength in case the tyrannical father returns.
