1.1. 4 stanzas of five lines each

2. He will later regret having followed his chosen road

3. One must be careful while choosing the path for himself

4. 2 diverging paths has to choose one

4.1. Regrets cannot follow both roads

4.2. Later realises paths roughly equivalent

4.3. Tries to cheer himself up that he will return someday and walk the other road

5. He will never stop thinking about the other path he might have followed

6. Looks back years later and realises that he had chosen the "less travelled " road.
