1. RENEWABLE AND NON RENEWABLE RESOURCES

1.6. PHOTOVOLTAIC CELL -a special battery which converts the energy from the sun into electrical energy.

2.1. HEAT - a type of energy which makes things feel warm.
2.2. THERMOMETER - an instrument used to measure temperature.
3. CONDUCTION
3.1. CONDUCTION - the transfer of heat through an object.
3.2. CONDUCTOR - material that transfers heat well by conduction.
3.3. INSULATOR - a material that does not transfer heat wellby conduction.

4.1. RADIATION - the transfer of heat through empty space.

7.1. CONVECTION - the transfer of heat through water or air.
