Legend of the kissing alley

3. In those days, most maidens had a lady-in-waiting as a faithful servant. So Carmen asked her lady-in-waiting to send a letter to Don Carlos warning him of her father's plans.

4. One day she was discovered by her father, who without thinking much about it, locked her up and threatened to send her to a convent and then marry her off to a rich old Spanish nobleman, who in turn would do her father a favor by increasing his fortune.

5. Asking and asking, she found out who the owner of the house was and bought it at a "golden price". Thus, still locked up and without her father's knowledge, Carmen and Don Carlos spent long nights talking on the balconies. Until one day the father heard whispering in the room and found the couple together. Enraged and violent as he was, he plunged a dagger into his daughter's chest. Before the facts, Don Carlos fell silent with horror and only let fall into the hands of his beloved a tender kiss.
