1. Business Start-ups
1.1. 50% of the approved project cost is borne by the Government and the remainder by the applicant.
1.2. For enterprises in the manufacturing sector, incorporated under the Registration of Business Act 1956, assistance is given up to 80% of the approved cost. The maximum grant allocated per application is RM 40,000
1.3. Sector coverage includes:
1.3.1. manufacturing and manufacturing related activities such as product/process development, software development, and product and process design.
1.4. Eligible Expenses incurred in starting up a business includes:
1.4.1. >Preparation of Business Plan
1.4.2. >Related Feasibility Studies
1.4.3. >Rental of incubators and business premises up to 24 months
1.4.4. >Rental of equipment and machineries
1.4.5. >Development of prototype
1.4.6. >Product sample and testing
2. Product And Process Improvement
2.1. This scheme provides matching grant to SMEs for improvement and upgrading of existing products, product design and processes upgrading.
2.2. Assistance is given in the form of a matching grant where 50% of approved project cost is borne by the government and the remainder by the applicant. The maximum grant allocated per application is RM500,000
