8.1. Summary of the movie
8.1.1. The movie is about a princess named Merida, who wants to be herself and free. Suddenly her mother wants her to marry one of three princes. She doesn't want to marry anyone, so she runs away and comes across a witch. Merida begins begging for a potion to change her moms mind, after a while of begging the witch gives in and gives her a potion, but little did Merida know that it would turn her mom into a bear. When Merida gave her mom the potion then she turned into a bear. they run out of the castle to avoid the mom getting killed, and enjoy life outside of the castle. At one point the mom loses herself and act like a real bear. They return to the witch's cabin, the place is empty but they discovered that they had 2 days to cure her mother, or else she would be a bear forever. They found out that they have to mend their bond and sow fact together their family tapestry. They mange to do so. Then Mor'du shows up and Meridas mother as a bear fights Mor'du. Mor'du is defeated and dies and he passes on. Merida's mother turns back into a human again in the nick of time. they all go back to living normally again but with many bonds mended.
