1. We use it to:
1.1. Talk about Routines: They always have lunch at 12 pm. He plays tennis every Sunday.
1.2. Talk about permanent situations: I have brown eyes. He lives in Los Patios.
1.3. Talk about things that are always true: Two and two make four.
2. The 3 forms of the Simple Present tense.
2.1. PPS + V( s / es) +C. She works in a bank.
2.2. PPS + do / does not (don't/doesn't) + V + C. She doesn’t work in a bank.
2.3. Do / Does + PPS + V + C + ? Does she work in a bank
3. Who uses DO?
3.1. I You We They
4. Who uses DOES?
4.1. He She It
5. We will use this verb to create different activities and materials, including videos and written content.
6. It's one of the most common verb tenses in English.
7. How to add -s or -es to the verbs.
7.1. It depends on:
7.1.1. The verb is in Simple Present Tense.
7.1.2. The sentence is Affismative.
7.1.3. The sentence is with He/She/It.
7.2. Depending on the verb ending:
7.2.1. 1. Add -s to most verbs in English
7.2.1.1. Sit: Sits. Make: Makes Travel: Travels Cut: Cuts
7.2.2. 2. Verbs ending in S, SS, SH, CH, X, Z, O : Add -ES
7.2.2.1. Kiss: Kisses Fish: Fishes Go: Goes
7.2.3. 3. Verbs ending in -y:
7.2.3.1. If there´s a vowel before y: add -s.
7.2.3.1.1. Play: Plays. Cry: Cries. Enjoy: Enjoys.
7.2.3.2. If there's a consonant before -y: drop the -y and add -ies.
7.2.3.2.1. Fly: Flies. Stay: Stays. Try: Tries.
