4. Facebook: A social networking site where individuals can share thought, ideas, and photos. Teachers could set up a page for their class to communicate assignments to students and parents, display projects, etc.
5. Pinterest: A network using boards to pin projects and ideas. Teachers could use Pinterest as a way to follow what other teachers are doing in their classrooms.
6. Edmodo: An online classroom where teachers can connect with their students in a safe environment.
7. MediaFire: Allows free storage of media files (pictures, music, documents). Students and teachers could collaborate in creating documents using the sharing features.
8. SchoolRack: A free classroom website where teachers can share documents and information with students and parents.
9. DROPitTOme: A password protected system which allows anyone with your DROPitTOme address to drop files to your account. Teachers could use this as a homework collection system.
10. SchoolNotes: This site also fits into the Social Networking category as teachers can upload assignments for their students. Teachers can also upload documents and images to their page for free.

13. Mugtug: An online drawing tool. Could be used to help students express their ideas with pictures instead of words or to create pictures to go along with their assignments.
14. GoAnimate: Allows students to create animated videos which they could share with others. Teachers could use this to animate lessons.
15. ChartGizmo: Create charts and graphs from data collected. Teachers could make charts to incorporate into lessons or students could make graphs from data collected and later share these graphs to online classrooms.
16. Weebly for Education: Another online classrooms where students can safely upload videos and blog their ideas. This provides added safety as teachers can control the privacy of the student accounts.
17. Blogs: Blogs such as Teddy Bears Around the World can help link students from different countries and promote global awareness. This could be implemented as part of a social awareness project school wide.
18. Google Lit Trips: A free service in which users download files that mark the journey of literary characters on Google Earth. This would be a way to link Geography lessons to popular literature of today.
19. Mapping the Nation: An interactive map that shows data from economics, demographics, and education throughout the U.S.
20. VoiceThread: With VoiceThread all you need is an up to date version of Adobe Flash Player. You can share over 50 types of media either privately or publicly. This could be implemented to allow students to study traditions of other countries through photos and audio files.
