1. Robert Hooke (1635-1703)

4.1. He was an English physician who made seminal contributions in anatomy and physiology. He was the first known to describe completely and in detail the systemic circulation and properties of blood being pumped to the brain and body by the heart.

5. William Beaumont (1438-1507)

5.1. He was a soldier and landowner who was a leading supporter of the Lancastrian faction during the Wars of the Roses. He was also the first president of the Royal Society.

6. Christopher Wren (1632-1723)

6.1. One of the most highly acclaimed English architects in history.He was accorded responsibility for rebuilding 52 churches in the City of London after the Great Fire in 1666, including his masterpiece, St. Paul's Cathedral.
