Multi-Store Model And Working Memory
von Jeremy Davis
1. Differences
1.1. Working Memory Model proposes that STM is more active than that of Multi-store Model STM.
1.2. Working Memory Model only describes short term memory while the Multi-Store Model describes both short and long term.
1.3. Working memory proposes a larger STM capacity than Multi-store Model
1.4. Multi-store Model focuses more on processes (encoding, retrieval, storage) than Working Memory

3. Similar
3.1. Both are simplistic models
3.2. Both are backed by studies
3.3. Both support the presence of a store that is short-term & holds visual & spatial memory
3.4. Both models propose that memory can be transferred and retrieved out of LTM
3.5. Both do not fully emphasize interaction between different stores
