CLASIFICACION ESTRUCTURAL DE LAS NEURONAS

1. SEGUN SU FUNCION

1.1. NEURONAS SENSORIALES: Son receptoras y conducen informacion al SNC.

1.1.1. NEURONAS MOTORAS: Conducen informacion del SNC hacias los musculos efectores.

1.1.1.1. INTERNEURONAS: Unen a dos o mas neuronas.

2. SEGUN LA DIRECCION DEL IMPULSO NERVIOSO

2.1. NEURONAS AFERENTES: Transportan el impulso nervioso desde los recedptores u organos sensoriales hacia el SNC

2.1.1. NEURONAS EFERENTES: Transportan los impulsos fuera del SNC.

3. SEGUN EL TAMAÑO

3.1. NEURONAS GOLGI TIPO I: Tienen un axon largo

3.1.1. NEURONAS GOLGI TIPO II: Tienen axon corto

3.1.1.1. CELULAS PIRAMIDALES DELA CORTEZA CEREBRAL

3.1.1.1.1. CELULAS DE PURKINJE DE LA CEREBELOSA

4. SEGUN LA POLARIDAD

4.1. MONOPOLARES: Solo una prolongacion, se comporta como un axon.

4.1.1. BIPOLARES: Cuerpo celular alargado, el extremo parte de un dendrita y del otro un axon.

4.1.1.1. MULTIPOLARES: Gran cantidad de dendritas
