ADDIE par Mind Map: ADDIE

1. In this phase the procedure for training the facilitators and learners is developed.

1.1. Step 1. The facilitators training should cover course curriculum, learning outcomes, method of delivery, and testing procedures.

1.2. Step 2. The learners training should focus on the technology on which the learning will take place.

2. Evaluating

2.1. The project is routinely evaluated by the developers and testers to ensure it is meeting the requirements in achieving the learner objectives. The evaluation phase consists of two parts: formative and summative.

2.1.1. Step 1. Formative evaluation is present at each stage of ADDIE processes.

2.1.2. Step 2. Summative evaluation consists of test design and preparing opportunities for feedback from the users.

3. Developing

4. Implementing

4.1. The development phase is where developers create and assemble the content assets that were created in the design phase.

4.1.1. Step 1. Review and revise project accordingly to any feedback given

5. Analyzing

5.1. In the analysis phase, the instructional problem is clarified, instructional goals and objectives are established, and the learning environment and learner's existing knowledge and skills are identified.

5.1.1. Step 1. Determine the audience and their characteristics

5.1.2. Step 2. Identify the new behavioral outcomes.

5.1.3. Step 3. Identify what types of learning constraints exist, what are the delivery options

5.1.4. Step 4. Identify what are the online pedagogical considerations, and what is the timeline for project completion.

6. Designing

6.1. The design phase deals with learning objectives, assessment instruments, exercises, content, subject matter analysis, lesson planning, and media selection.

6.1.1. Step 1 Consider the translating the program objectives into enabling learning objectives.

6.1.2. Step 2. Determine program structure and sequence

6.1.3. Step 3. Determine program duration and pace

6.1.4. Step 4. Evaluate costs and effort required

6.1.5. Step 5. Define implementation and training administrational requirements
