1. Develop

1.1. The Development Phase is where the actual learning content that was designed in the previous phase is created.

1.2. List of Action Steps: determine layout, colors, create media (such as video), review full course for issues, and make edits based on feedback.

2. Implement

2.1. The Implement Phase is where the course is actually delivered to students, assignment/tests are graded, and evaluations are collected.

2.2. List of Action Steps: recruit/enroll students, train instructors, conduct pilot delivery, deliver content and assessments, and collect evaluations.

3. Evaluate

3.1. The Evaluate Phase is broken down into formative and summative assessments. Formative occur throughout the ADDIE Process.

3.2. List of Action Steps: distribute, collect, and analyze evaluations for potential improvements to the course, and identify need to revisit course for improvements based on evaluation.

4. Analyze

4.1. Analysis is the first step in creating or modifying existing training. Answers key questions about the purpose of the training, what it should achieve, how it will be constructed and structured, who will be the training audience, and what knowledge students will bring to the training.

4.2. List of Action Steps: meet with focus group of stakeholders, determine outcomes of training, identify student profile and learning level, identify time constraints on training, and project timeline.

5. Design

5.1. The Design Phase focuses on the specific structuring of the training that will be developed. The outline of the course is developed via a storyboard to sequence the contents.

5.2. List of Action Steps: create enabling objectives, determine appropriate content, decide on media usage (videos, etc.), and create storyboard for training,
