1.1. A faraway kingdom in Mindanao. Since the story (the Darangen was created by Maranao people).
2. CHARACTERS
2.1. The king of the kingdom in Mindanao.
2.2. Prince/King Madali - he had studied how to run a government. He knows how to deal with foreign relations and has ideas how to improve the life of the people of the kingdom. The legal heir for the throne and became the new king after his father. Enraged and envious of his little brother.
2.3. Prince Bantugan - he is a handsome man, very intelligent and a fast learner. He had possessed such great strength he can kill a ferocious crocodile. The kingdom's number one soldier. Left the kingdom because he felt sad and lonely of his brother's order.
2.4. The ministers.

3. Being brave and strong aren't just Bantugan's traits but he is also very handsome that young women in the kingdom falls in love with him. Enraged and envious of his little brother, Madali declared an order that whoever talks to Bantugan will be sent to jail or punished severely.
4. PLOT
4.1. A king in a kingdom in Mindanao had two sons, Prince Madali, the oldest and Prince Bantugan, the youngest. Unlike the eldest son, Bantugan possesses great strength that can defeat 3-5 men into a hand to hand combat.
4.2. When their father died due to his old age, Madali became the new king since he is the legal heir to the throne but there were protests that Bantugan should be the king since he is strong and can protect the kingdom. Bantugan declined and said that his older brother is more capable of the throne.
4.3. And because of that Bantugan became sad since everyone who he loves avoided him. Then, he decided one day to leave the kingdom and live very far permanently.
5. MORAL OF THE STORY
5.1. Being too envious to someone because they have the things you lack can lead to a bad situation.
5.2. Being envious might make you act impulsively to the person and ruin their life/personality.
6. No one is perfect and we should all be thankful that we are good in doing our own things. People maybe can't do the things yourself can do and one-self's should be thankful to have that ability.
