1. Equality aims to ensure that everyone gets the same thing. It is the effect of treating each person without difference.
2. Equity means fairness without bias. It means to make sure people get access to the same opportunities to have and enjoy full and healthy life.
3. Some families do not pay attention to girl child. They see them not better as compared to boys.
4. The responsibilities of the Government are: To apply what the Ecuadorian Constitution says in terms of the right of education and non-discrimination for girls. To build equitable and inclusive education systems To consider the gender implications of how they allocate resources.
5. DEFINITION:
5.1. Gender refers to those attitudes and behaviors accepted by the society as appropriate ways of being a woman or a man. These behaviors and attitudes are a social construct that depends on the culture, socio-economic class and time being reinforced over time by social practice (Guinea, 2009).
6. Educational equality:Making sure all students have equal access to resources is the ideal goal because all students should have the resources necessary for a high quality education.
7. Educational equity:Making sure that students from low-income, indigenous, afro-Ecuadorian, from the rural area or from marginalized neighborhoods contexts, have access to exceptional, well-prepared and approachable teachers, updated materials and access to technology.
