MODALS OF DEDUCTION

1. CAN'T: We use CAN'T when something is impossible to happen.

1.1. She can't be older than you.

2. MIGHT/MAY/COULD: We use this kinds of modals when we aren't sure about the situation.

2.1. He might not be a police man

2.2. She may go to home

3. Modals of deduction are useful in order to try to guess something about situations.

4. MUST: We use MUST when we are sure about the guess

4.1. He must be a doctor, because he use a white coat with the name of the hospital.

5. Depend of the type of modal what we use to show more or less sure about the guess
