1.1. In this study, people who do not know how to deal with the problem/s of their mental health will profit. The researchers want to let coming generations and those who are going to read their proposal know that writing to vent one's emotions have a positive impact on their mental health.
2. Scope and Limitations
2.1. The purpose of the study is to be able to tell how the mental health of a person, primarily children, adolescents, and adults, is influenced by writing to vent emotions. A total of 90 respondents were involved in this study: 30 kids, 30 teenagers, and 30 adults. The participants that took part in the research resided in the following areas: Pagsanjan, Laguna, Majayjay, Laguna, Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Mandaluyong City, Lucena City, and Magdalena, Laguna.
3. Methodology
3.1. This study is categorized as explanatory research. The researchers came up with a total of four questions to be answered. They chose the people who have tried venting their emotions through writing. The results of the analysis will be inferred by means of the google form to be given to the respondents.
4. Results and Discussions
4.1. The overall outcomes of the four questions answered by 30 kids, 30 teenagers, and 30 adults are shown in Figure 5. Based on the computed weighted mean of 4.12 and translated as Agreement, writing to vent emotions is always pleasant. Based on the calculated weighted mean of 4.51 and described as Strongly Agree, writing to vent emotions will make you feel better. Based on the measured weighted mean of 4.15 and translated as agreement, it is good for you to vent your emotions by writing again.
5. Introduction
5.1. In this study, the researchers aim to examine the effectiveness of expressive writing in 3 separate age groups (Kids, Teens, Adults). The researchers gathered thirty kids (aged 9-12), teens (aged 13-19), adults (aged 20 and above) with past emotional experiences and were assigned to write about their past emotional experiences, their emotions, and the way they felt about their past negative emotional experience.
