1. Mind-wandering is not a waste of time.
1.1. Mind-wandering helps us relieve stress since focusing on certain things all the time gives no break to our brain.
2. Multitasking does not actually exist.
3. Attention as saliency from a perception perspective.
3.1. For example, if the speaker talks with monotone during the presentation, it is very boring and people easily lose attention.
4. Everyone has a different peak of stress level.
4.1. Some might get stressful much earlier than the others.
5. Heavy cognitive load means you need an excessive amount of time and effort to think and decide something.
5.1. You can change it to lower cognitive load by practicing.
6. White space is often used in advertisement or presentation.
6.1. It gives rest to your brain.
6.1.1. We can think about it in terms of mind wandering. It is always helpful to let your mind go wherever it goes since it gives some break to the brain.
