1. Course Description
1.1. This course aims to provide you with an understanding of 13 classifications of special education, special education laws, and the individualized education program (IEP) process, as well as best practices for working with children and their families. Additionally, you will develop strategies to support students with IEPs in assessment, instruction, academic success, and social and emotional development. The size of students with a disability has grown in size. There is, therefore, a need for teachers in inclusive classrooms to be able to teach and support students with disabilities.
2. Course Objectives
