1. ADDIE is a design model that is mostly used in instructional design for its ease and simplicity. It the acronym for the following steps in the design journey - Analyse; Design; Develop; Implement and

1.1. ANALYSE

1.1.1. Answer questions about the learner, the problem, and the environment.

1.1.1.1. The user/learner - who are they - skills, previous knowledge, and gaps?

1.1.1.2. What is the learning problem? What are the goals and objectives?

1.1.1.3. Environment - where does learning take place (online/ offline/blended) and how?

1.2. DESIGN

1.2.1. Use of the three focus of analysis - the the learner, the problem, and the environment.to create a lofi wireframe of design

1.2.1.1. Break learning objectives per module and unit.

1.2.1.2. Choose methodology and appropriate learning theories

1.2.1.3. Design content, exercises and choose assessment measurement

1.2.1.4. Choose media to communicate and enhance learning

1.3. DEVELOP

1.3.1. Develop storyboards/prototypes including content scripts, graphics and all media designs

1.3.1.1. Write lesson plans and script content

1.3.1.2. Create assessment exercises per lesson and module

1.3.1.3. Design graphics, record video and audio lessons

1.4. IMPLEMENT

1.4.1. Roll out the lesson

1.4.1.1. Set pre- implementation metrics - motivations/rewards, lessons presentation - into, and conclusion.

1.4.1.2. Test lesson to check for errors and loop holes.

1.4.1.3. Make corrections and roll out lessons
