1.1. in a polygamous, subjected to knowing that husband is involved in loving, sexual relationships with other women which are really mistresses
1.2. whereas in a monogamous--- husband attends to wife's needs as she attends to the house/children. he's there to talk with her about situations involving the family
1.3. receives time and gifts to show appreciation
1.4. women feel inadequate and unappreciated... husband doesnt value them, not satisfied with them and them alone

2.2. define and explain how polygamy came about
2.3. women and children dont benefit from polygamy
2.4. Although Essig and Owens argue that polygamy is a suitable option for marriage, monagamy offers more positive benefits for the husband, wife and child(ren).

4.1. in monogamous households father is only gone due to work or maybe hobbies
4.2. father available for any questions, checking under bed for monsters, killing spiders etc
4.3. are witness to mothers' pain
4.4. polygamy separates children from their fathers. and they suffer as a result
4.4.1. no benefit to fathers' absence
