3.1.1. 1. An interest rate announcement. When interest rates are announced by any central bank, many things happen from the pricing of loans, to the pricing of real estate, bonds, and equities.
3.1.2. 2. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates is an indicator of a countries total output of labor and product, but when it is announced every year by the country, World Bank, or the IMF, it’s results can act has a driver for macro-economic caution, or exuberance.
3.1.3. 3. Consumer Price Index (CPI)- Also another indicator whose yearly announcement has macro-economic implications for one’s country and depending on the country, repercussions on a global scale, e.g. China, the US or the EU results.
3.1.4. 4. Fiscal or Monetary Policy - When the supply of money is contracted or expanded, or when new taxes are introduced, or when taxes are taken away, the results are on a macro-scale.

When a country has a negative trade balance, meaning they are importing more than they are exporting, there can be macro-implications. These implications are more pronounced on a global scale when the country is an economic power, like China, USA, Japan, Germany, France, India, etc.. When there are trade balance announcements from these countries the rest of the world pays attention.
