1. What are Conditionals?
1.1. They are sentences with 'if' that describe a condition and a result.
1.2. Used to talk about real and unreal situations.
2. First Conditional
2.1. Structure: If + present simple, will + base verb
2.2. Use: Real and possible future situations
2.3. Example: If it rains, we will cancel the picnic.
3. Third Conditional
3.1. Structure: If + past perfect, would have + past participle
3.2. Use: Imaginary situations in the past (regrets)
3.3. Example: If I had studied harder, I would have passed the test.
4. Conditional Words
4.1. unless – means “if not”
4.2. provided that / as long as – means “only if”
4.3. in case – to explain precautions

6. Zero Conditional
6.1. Structure: If + present simple, present simple

9.1. Commas: Use a comma if the “if clause” comes first
9.2. Avoid using “will” in the “if clause”
