1. EGYPT
1.1. Hosni Mubarak was elected president, but refused to leave

1.6. He changed and controlled everything
1.7. Made a new constitution
1.8. Another revolution stared against him
1.9. After he killed 1000 protester people were afraid and became represive
2. YEMEN
2.1. Ali Abdullah Saleh was forced from power after 33 yrs
2.2. Demonstrations began in January 2011
2.3. Security forces launched a crackdown that killed form 200-2000 people
3. BAHRAIN
3.1. The leader was King Hamad
3.2. Demonstrators were demanding more democracy and to end discrimination against Shia by the Sunni royal family.
3.3. The uprising began in February but by March the King kicked them out.
4. TUNISIA
4.1. Corruption erupted into ass demonstrations in December 2010
4.2. Mohamed Bouazizi set himself in fire publicly
4.3. The poor began to protests against corruption
4.4. In October 2011 Tunisia had democratic elections after 23 yrs
4.5. Moncef Marzouki was elected
4.6. He was a salafist and brought back Islamic traditions
5. LYBIA
5.1. Muamar ar Gaddafi was killed after 42 years in power
5.2. The uprising began in February 2011 after security forces opened fire on a protest
5.3. The UN Security Council aurthorized "all necessary measures" to protect civilians
5.4. Nato powers launched air strikes on government targets
5.5. Gaddafi went on the run but was captured and killed publicly in August 2011
6. SYRIA
6.1. The President is Bashar El Assaad
6.2. It is the last country to go into the Arab Spring
6.3. Protesters went against Bashar and security forces opened fire against them
6.4. People inside Syria are getting help from other countries
6.5. Iran supports the Shia population and Saudi Arabia the Sunni, by sending weapons and suplies
6.6. This civil war has not ended yet, countries like the USA are still fighting against the government
