1. Organism
1.1. An organism is made up of all the levels of organization.
1.2. All living things are organisms, such as a human or an animal.
1.3. These have cells that have organelles. They also have tissues that make up organs, which makes an organism. This creating an organism.
2. Organ System
2.1. There are 11 major systems in the body.
2.2. When two or more organs come together to perform a function in the body.
2.3. These come together to keep the body alive and running.
3. Organs
3.1. Organs are made of different types of tissue.
3.2. Some types of tissue are bone tissue, muscle tissue, and stomach tissue.
3.3. These organs come together to serve a certain purpose.
4. Tissues
4.1. Cells multiply to become tissues.
4.2. Tissues form organs.
4.3. Tissues are a group of similar cells.
5. Cells
5.1. All cells come from pre-existing cells.
5.2. The smallest units that have characteristics of life.
5.3. The basic unit of structure of all living things.
6. Organelles
6.1. Organelles are needed for cells to survive.
6.2. Main organelles in a cell are the nucleus, cell membrane, chloroplast, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, cell wall and golgi apparatus.
6.3. Some organelles can be seen through a microscope.
7. Macromolecule
7.1. There are two different types of macromolecule: lipid and fat molecule.
7.2. They're made up of atoms.
7.3. They make up bigger molecules.
8. Molecule
8.1. Made out of atoms.
8.2. They form larger chemical groups.
8.3. A type of molecule is a macromolecule.
9. Atoms
9.1. They are the smallest unit of measure.
9.2. Atoms make up matter.
9.3. Everything is made up of matter, therefore everything is made of atoms.
