1. It is a evaluation for both the teacher and student to explain what they are using technology for.

2. PICRAT

2.1. PICRAT is a two way grid that helps to better define the gradient for technology integration.

3. Triple-E

3.1. Triple E framework is a model used for integrating technology into k-12 schools, and is widely used by teachers.

3.1.1. Enhance the student's experience through technology

3.1.2. Extend, can this information via technology be used outside of the classroom in everyday life?

3.1.3. Engage, does the technology engage my students?

4. SAMR

4.1. The letters "SAMR" stand for Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. The SAMR model was created to share a common language across disciplines as teachers strive to help students visualize complex concepts.

4.1.1. Substitution At this stage, technology is directly substituted for a more traditional one.

4.1.1.1. AugmentationThe technology is again directly substituted for a traditional one, but with significant enhancements to the student experience. In other words, you ask yourself if the technology increases or augments a student's productivity and potential in some way.

4.1.1.2. Modification In this stage, you are beginning to move from enhancement to transformation on the model. Instead of replacement or enhancement, this is an actual change to the design of the lesson and its learning outcome.

4.1.1.2.1. Redefinition. You ask yourself if the technology tools allow educators to redefine a traditional task in a way that would not be possible without the tech, creating a novel experience.

4.2. Many educators use the SAMR model and Bloom’s Taxonomy in tandem to make their technology integration more purposeful.

4.3. A ladder method. Use S and A to enhance learning and then M and R to transform learning. Introduction to the SAMR Model | Common Sense Education

5. TPACK

5.1. Identifies three types of knowledge instructors needed for integrating edtech. It helps us better understand technology and how to use it to benefit our learning. TPACK shows the relationship between technology, content, and pedagogy, and blends them.

5.1.1. Technological Knowledge- what digital tools are available to you, which do you know well enough to use, and which would be most appropriate for the lesson at hand?

5.1.1.1. Pedagogical Knowledge- how do your students learn best and what instructional strategies do you need to meet their needs and the requirements of the lesson plan?

5.1.1.1.1. Content Knowledge- what are you teaching and what is your own knowledge of the subject?
