1. Trials of students were impacted, degrees delayed, students project report suffered because of nationwide third lockdown. Till May 31st lockdown is continued in Punjab state of India

2. Digital divide disparity existed, students did not take the assignments, practical records, with them to home, thinking they will be back soon.

2.1. Parents were agitated , they did not wanted to pay the tuition fees, and educational businesses were stand still, right from cafeteria to book shops, malls,

Government was waiving off rent, for students, but the property owners were appealing for demand of rent as they had taken huge loans, from banks, bank loan were made interest free and with no penalty for at-least three months. In some private universities teacher salaries were not paid on time and they was fear that they will not be paid salary for no work before start of a new session. This created a lot of decreased morale in the teacher fraternity. Initially students enjoyed their time home with family members but after that questions started to emerge on examinations , practical exams.

2.1.1.1. Online exams, online internships, no scope for social surveys, market research, as curfew was imposed and police was beating people found outside.

Some students did not have laptops to submit their assignment, some states had a very bad internet coverage as a result, they could not participate in zoom meetings, live classes, and they submitted their assignment by writing with pen and paper , using app on mobile scanner, they sent their assignemnts.

3. Across the globe, universities were closed, education suffered, In UK, New Zealand, Australia higer education was impacted through distance learning.

3.1. Indian students drean of abraod education was put on standstill as some universities were planning to give online classes for next year.

3.1.1. Teaching jobs were put on hold as new entrant could not get to join the university.

4. Teacher student engagement and participation was a limitation because of internet issues when the pictures became pixelated and with breaking voice and when students dont mute their audios and videos when internet speed is slow.

4.1. University face to face interaction, lecture delivery is required, social and outside four walls of class room experience is required, online education through youtube, or other e learning platforms will not serve the purpose.

4.1.1. India is 2nd to China and its having growing young population. Online classes, edtech companies saw a swan effect because of COVID-19, as there was jump in enrolment of classes.

5. COVID 19 impact march 17th nation - online school of education started , students sent back to home, residential hostels empty.

6. Experience Sharing-Teachers used minimally Whatsapp, Shared notes using University UMS/LMS. Conducted assignements, polls, upgraded themselves for use on web 2.0 tools like zoom, meet, handouts, online university messengers, created youtube videos and lectures, for more engagement and participation

6.1. Creative ways of sharing assignments among students , videos made by them, audio shared for assignments

7. Internet subscribers are increasing in INDIA YET 100 MBPS SPEED DATA IS a distant reality. Teachers used their mobile hotspots for working from home, attending online meetings , preparing lectures and making their kids study as well with that limited speed internet. As braoband offers 8 mbps for residential places with bad modems, and not so good optic fibre infrastructure is put in place. 5 G internet is a distant reality.

7.1. Social norms, working from home and studies online distracted students and teachers, and family members even lacked net etiquettes. If there was no such lack, outside street vendors, selling vegetables and regular grocery used microphones for sale in towns. This created noise pollution and distraction.
