1.1. 1900s:The S-Band corset

1.1.1. The Edwardian period saw the introduction of the "S-bend" or "health" corset, a style that altered the wearer's posture and (shocker) was no more healthful than its predecessors.

1.2. 1910s:The hobble skirt

1.2.1. This coincided with a trend for "hobble skirts," a style popularized by designer Paul Poiret that was narrow through the ankle and sometimes banded below the knee, constricting women's movement and sometimes leading to injury.

3.1.1. Jeans got wider, heels got taller, and synthetic fabrics flooded fashion stores during the '90s. In New York,of Studio 54–dwelling cool girls brought disco trends like Lurex halter tops and palazzo pants to the mainstream

3.2. 1980s:Leggings

3.2.1. if there's one item that was as ubiquitous in the '80s as it is today, it's leggings became a bona fide fashion trend—though back then, they were worn with leg warmers, off-the-shoulder sweatshirts, and/or scrunchies.

3.3. Fashion style in 90s

3.3.1. Patent leather and vinyl were often used as fabrics in the '90s for a futuristic look.

3.3.2. Leather was popular during the decade and was often worn in the form of skirts and dresses.

3.3.3. Acid-wash jeans were a new way of wearing denim at the time.

3.3.4. Many sunglasses that were popular in the '90s were a nod to shades from the '60s.
