Polar Bear

1. Has evolved many body characteristics to allow it to live in colder temperatures such as hollow hair and black skin

2. Does not hibernate

3. Has small bumps on the pads of its paws for traction

4. The cheek teeth are smaller and more jagged than the brown bear

5. They have 10cm of blubber, hide and fur to insulate them

6. They shed their coat in the summer for a darker coat for camouflage in the summer

7. Lives in an Arctic environment

8. White fur allows the bear to camouflage

9. Eats mostly seals

10. Has large feet to distribute its weight to allow the bear to walk across snow and ice
