4. Essential Question: Was the American Revolution avoidable?

4.1. I think that it was avoidable because the British could have not added so many taxes to the colonies. I think maybe after the first few they could have learned that it was a bad idea and that the colonists would get sick of it and fight. They could also sell stuff to other countries to pay debts instead of taxing that much.
