1. SLATE DEFINITION

1.1. A physical component is made up of things like goods, machinery, tools, designs, methods, and procedures.(Vinod Kumar, Uma Kumar & Aditha Persaud, April,1999)

1.2. The informational component which consists of expertise in management, marketing, production, quality control, reliability, skilled labor and functional areas.(Vinod Kumar, Uma Kumar & Aditha Persaud,April,1999)

2. My new definition - The new definition in my perspective does not change a lot from before because the way I was thinking before was quite similar that is taught within the module.The thing it added to my knowledge is quiet significant which states that in even very little aspects of life their is the role of technology.

3. Why do we need new technology

3.1. To improve the technology and decrease the amount of disadvantages the current technologies we have.

3.1.1. Example- The transition from diesel vehicles to EV vehicles which is less harmful to the enviournment.
