3.2. SOB

3.3. Sweating

3.4. Light headed

3.5. Palpitations

3.6. Nausea

3.7. Vomiting

3.8. Fainting

3.9. Pain in left or right arm,lower jaw,neck,back

3.10. Cough

4. Prognosis

4.1. Depends on damage to heart muscle and valves

4.2. Can cause heart failure

5. May take medication for rest of life

6. ECG: look for heart damage

7. Physical exam & listen to chest with stethoscope

7.1. Listen for:

7.2. Heart murmurs

7.3. Abnormal sounds

8. Troponin blood test: look for heart tissue damage

9. Coronary angiography: dye flows through heart

10. Crackles

11. Fast uneven pulse

12. Opens up narrowed artery

13. Fast uneven pulse

16.1. BP can be high, low, or normal

17.1. Angioplasty

17.2. Hooked up to heart monitor

17.3. Receive oxygen

17.4. Sometimes receive nitroglycerin & morphine for pain

17.5. Receive medicine to break up clots
