2. Step 2: Start Priavte pilot training under part 61, you need to fly 20 with an instructor & 20 hours solo with a cross counrty flight. After this is completed you take your written exam (must score atleast a 70%), then take a checkride with a DPE to offical become a private pilot

3. Step 3: Start Instrument training under part 61. This requires 50 hours of cross-country flight time & 40 hours of instrument time. After completed take written exam (must score 70% or higher) then take checkride and pass

4. Step 4: Begin Commercial training, this consists of 100 hours of pilot-in-command time and 50 hours of cross-country. Cross-country flights are also part of the training; including one of three legs that is at least 300 nautical miles total with a single leg of at least 250 miles. Then pass the written (score atleast a 70%), then take checkright with DPE

5. Step 5: Now start Multi-engine training, youll have to do 20 hours of instruction, including 3 hours of cross-country flight instruction and 3 hours of instrument flight instruction, 0 hours of solo flight time, including 5 hours of solo cross-country flight. With multi-engine there is no knowledge test but you will have to pass a checkright with a DPE

To do this you'll need to be 18 years or older, Have at least 250 hours of flight time,Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate, Have an instrument rating, Have a valid FAA third-class medical certificate or higher, Receive a logbook endorsement from an authorized instructor, Pass a knowledge test on aeronautical knowledge areas, then complete required ground and inflight training and take a checkride with a DPE

7. Step 7 (Optional): To build even more hours at a faster pace you can get your CFII this allows you to instruct students getting their instrument rating rather then just private which is CFI. The steps to get your CFII are the same as CFI except pass the CFII written exam (70% or better)

8. Step 8: Build as many hours as possible to hit the 1,500 hour minimum required by the airlines

9. Step 9: Apply to a reginal airline, Get hired and start building Twin Turbine engine time so that you can submit a resume to southwest that meets their hiring requiments

10. Step 10: Interview with southwest, once hired you start off in a simulator so you can get type rated for the boeing 737

11. Step 11 (FINAL): Pass all southwest type rating training. Now that this has been completed you can start flying their fleet of real boeing 737's
