1. Athletic Diet

1.1. A athletic diet is concerned with the type and quantity of fluid and food taken by an athlete, and deals with nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, supplements and organic substances such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Although an important part of many sports training regimens, it is most commonly considered in strength sports (such as weight lifting and bodybuilding) and endurance sports (for example cycling, running, swimming).

2. Organic Food Diet

2.1. Organic foods are foods that are produced using methods of organic farming with limited modern synthetic inputs such as synthetic pesticides and chemical fertilizers, though organic pesticides, such as Bt toxin, are still used. Organic foods are also not processed using irradiation, industrial solvents, or chemical food additives.

2.2. Organic products meet stringent standards Organic certification is the public’s assurance that products have been grown and handled according to strict procedures without persistent toxic chemical inputs. Organic food tastes great! It’s common sense – well-balanced soils produce strong, healthy plants that become nourishing food for people and animals.

2.3. For the end consumer, cost is one of the biggest disadvantages of organic foods. Organic farming is more time and labor intensive, and the organic certification process can be costly and difficult. USDA organic certification and labeling have strict requirements. A smaller amount of organic food is grown per acre and there is less demand for organic foods on the market. Increased consumer and corporate demand may reduce the price of organics over tim

3. Low Fat Diet

3.1. A low-fat diet is a diet containing limited amounts of fat and stressing foods high in carbohydrates; used in treatment of some gallbladder conditions.

3.2. low-fat ‘diet’ foods have been processed, refined, and loaded with sugar in order to make them more palatable. Those kinds of ‘foods’ were made in a lab somewhere - and they barely even classify as FOOD! Processed low-fat diet foods and diet drinks also tend to contain artificial sweeteners and flavouring that simply have no reasonable, rational place inside your body.

4. Low Carbohydrate Diet

4.1. Low-carbohydrate diets are dietary programs that restrict carbohydrate consumption, often for the treatment of obesity. Foods high in easily digestible carbohydrates (e.g., sugar, bread, pasta) are limited or replaced with foods containing a higher percentage of fats and moderate protein (e.g., meat, poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs, cheese, nuts, and seeds) and other foods low in carbohydrates (e.g., most salad vegetables), although other vegetables and fruits (especially berries) are often allowed.

4.2. People who go on low carb diets do see results. In fact, they start to lose weight rather quickly and lose a lot of weight. A low carb diet also helps people who have diabetes. For diabetics a low carb diet can help to lower their blood sugar levels. Also diabetics will lose weight while on the low carb diet, which will also help them to lower their blood sugar levels. A low carb diet also keeps people from eating bleached flours and refined sugars, which are bad carbohydrates. Many people don't know that you can become addicted to carbohydrates. The more bad carbohydrates you eat, the more addicted you become. A low carb diet can be healthy, if people only lower the bad carbs that they consume, but most people go far beyond that.

4.3. Most people on a low carb diet choose to lower their intake of all carbohydrates. This means they cut out fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and a lot of other foods that are actually good for them. Low carb diets are also bad because once you lose all the weight, you still need to avoid carbohydrates. Many people do not know that their brain needs carbs in order to function properly. In fact, after taking a Criminology course I learned that deficiency in carbohydrates can lead people to commit crimes. Carbs are actually food for the brain. People who are on low carb diets are also not getting enough fiber in their meals and I'm sure everyone knows why that can be a bad side effect of this diet.
