1. Apparatus: Filter paper, filter funnel, beaker.
2. Step 5: Place a beaker under the end of the condenser to collect the pure water.
3. Step 4: Insert the two pipes into the condenser.
4. Step 6: Fill the space of the condenser with cold water. Let the water go in from the bottom and out of the top part.
5. Step 7: Light the bunsen burner under the tripod stand.
6. Step 3: Put the thermometer into the round condenser using the cork, and place the bulb near the entrance of the condenser.
7. Step 2: Assemble the condenser and the conical flask using the two retort stands.

10. Step 4: The insoluble solids will be left in the filter paper as residue, while the water collected at the beaker will be the filtrate.
11. Step 3:Pour the mixture into filter funnel
12. Step 2: Place the filter funnel on top of the beaker.
13. Step 1: Take the filter paper curve it and place it a the filter funnel.

15. Step 1: Assemble the bunsen burner under the tripod stand and place the conical flask with the mixture in it on top of the tripod stand.
