1.1. Liberal Perspective: I believe in equality. Every person should receive the same amount of opportunities as the person around them. On page 24 ,it states this..."The liberal perspective is concerned primarily with balancing the economic productivity of capitalism with the social and economic needs of the majority of people in the United States".

1.2. Liberal Perspective also states that "....liberals place a heavy emphasis on equality,especially equality of opportunity..."pg.24

1.3. Page 26"Liberals also believe that capitalism is indeed the most productive economic system,but they suggest that,if left unrestrained,capitalism often creates far too much political and economic disparity between citizens."
