1. 3rd Law

1.1. The Law of equal and opposite

1.2. One object exerts a force on a second object, the second exerts a force that is equal in magnitude, but opposite in direction. Also called action-reaction forces.

1.3. Examples include: Rifle recoil & rocket launch

2. 2nd Law

2.1. The Law of Acceleration: F=ma

2.2. Directly proportional to force and inversely proportional to mass

2.3. Examples include: Pulling the tablecloth trick or drag racer

3. 1st Law

3.1. A concept by Galileo

3.2. An object at rest will stay at rest unless acted on by an outside force or an object in motion will stay in motion

3.3. Examples include: Hockey puck & tug of war
