1. Telelogical system believed that everything in this world has causes

2. Material cause is the material from which the thing is made

3. Formal ause - the shape or form a thing must take in order to be recognized

4. efficient cause - actual force to make thing

5. Final Cause - is the ultimate purpose of the thing

6. said, "all men by nature desire to know. An example is the delight we take in our sense."

7. differ from animals because we have humans have creativity

8. Differ from plato and socrates because does not believe in a world of forms
